Imo State Police Command Nab Fake Lawyer, False Prophets
A fake lawyer and two fake pastors have been paraded by the Imo State Police Command, Owerri.
It also paraded before newsmen 59 suspects involved in various crimes ranging from kidnapping, armed robbery and cultism. Also displayed before journalists were sophisticated arms recovered from the suspects.
Parading the suspects before newsmen at the State Police headquarters in Owerri, the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike said items recovered from the fake lawyer include a lawyer’s wig, letter headed papers and case diaries.
He said the fake lawyer was arrested at Orlu after defrauding members of the public the sum of N342, 000 under the pretence of selling auctioned vehicles.
