IMSU: Police Confirms Arrest Of 3 Students Over Cult Fight
Three Students of Imo state university have been arrested in connection to the Sunday cult clash in the campus weekend.
The suspects arrested according to the Police Public Relations Officer SP Andrew Enwerem, who confirmed the arrest to the wireless team Tuesday, said the include: Nelson Ogbu, 200L student of Mass Communication; Samuel Ezike, of the Department of Mechanical Engineering; and Chinonso Okechukwu, of the Department of Political Science all in IMSU.
Recall that members of a cult group clashed on Sunday at Delight Hostel, IMSU front gate. The clash which turned festival of bullet was over powered by a team from the Anti-Cultism Unit of the command and men of the Orji Police Division.
In-spite no live was reportedly lost at the scene of the clash, it was alleged that a member of the cult group sustained heavy injury, although unconfirmed reports looming round the campus has it that the wounded member gave up after being admitted to the hospital.
