Academic activities literally came to a halt at the Faculty
of Humanities, IMSU Tues. June, 26, when students marked the cultural day. It
was a sight to behold as students dressed in elegant traditional attires,
trooped out of their lecture halls to showcase the beauty of Igbo culture.
Before a crowd of guests, comprising Management, Staff, and invited
dignitaries, the students took turns to parade the Igbo cultural heritage. The
audience hailed the revelers as they performed traditional dance steps to
entertain guests at the Faculty’s Cultural Ground. Anchored by Mc Surface
alongside Mc Badmouth, the event featured cultural dances, beauty pageant and
drama, Imsu Elijah Reports.
